you have "Insured On Us" stock block active. That's the reason- you will get random money like this randomly

Like others have said, it's a random event you'll get while holding a block of IOU stock.
It used to be triggered by people in the Law Starting job that use the Paralegal special to get money. I'm not 100% sure if that's still the case however.

That it is. Part of the bb payout for that stock block comes from people using the job points in law firm for class action lawsuit. IOU makes you eligible for 2 kinds of benefits basically.
The way it works is,
1) xxx decides to use job points on lawsuit in city law job.
2) Random yyy who owns an IOU stock block are chosen to get a cut of the lawsuit payment. The payout can vary greatly.
The city law job and IOU stock block work together for this one. You CANNOT get a lawsuit payment if you don't own the stock block.
If my understanding is correct, IOU makes you eligible for a company dividend (like any other dividend based stock blocks) AS WELL AS these random lawsuit payouts.
