I remember hearing years ago the Torn app was being discontinued? I’ve been happily using it though. Today all I am met with is an options screen and can no longer use it.

Apple removed the app from the App store, they let it stay there for a few years after the support was discontinued. But they finally got around to removing it, nothing can be done about it. I will recommend you to use Torn PDA on iOS devices.
