chat button missing

Hey, not sure if it is only me or it has something to do with chat 2.0, but I've not been able to see the chat button on the bottom of my screen for weeks now.
I have torntools on my browser, but could not find a hide/unhide chat setting there either.

Do you have multiple tabs open or are on certain pages?

I've found with the new Chat 2.0 that specific pages will not load chat, and having multiple tabs can often lead to issues.
Faction mates have mentioned clearing the cache and refreshing can help

It doesn't matter whether I have one or multiple tabs open, or which tab I am on. I cannot see the chat button what so ever.
Tried clearing cache on my browser which did not help.

BTW, I can see the button and chat using my cell phone with Torn PDA. It just does not shown on my laptop.

Does it show on an incognito window in chrome with no extensions enabled?

**no extensions**, including tampermonkey, adblock, anything as all can affect this.

There is a way to hide chats with Torntools.

It's under the Chat category in Torntools settings. It adds a checkbox in the chat settings.

Can you see the chat settings at all? Scroll to the bottom and see if that box is checked.

If all else fails, disable Torntools and see if they reappear.
