Can probably block with a custom filter through an adblock.

in Ublock Origin or Adblock+ should do it, just right click and block element then change to that and preview.


Edit: Confirmed, first one will clean it up 100%, the second would leave a very thin gray bar. Of the two I recommend Ublock Origin on Firefox if you use youtube.

Should remain fully functional, you will not know how many images someone has without clicking though. You'd need a proper script if your goal is to move rather than remove.

You can also always go into ublocks settings->filters and remove if you want, so this is 100% safe.
