Watergate was my guess as well since it is for the political party hub.
watergate makes the most sense from a american perspective (im a red blooded american.) but seeing as torn is located, and presumably developed by mostly europeans, that doesnt make a ton of sense. any european ppl know anything about 1972?
It could be just a generic birthdate. lots of folks use their birthday or year as a whole or part of their password (do not do this yourself, it's bad cybersecurity!!)
i would agree, but its to a political party hub.
im english i follow international affairs a lot many other people do as well in my country.
watergate was a couple of years before i was born but i know about it.

Not all of the passwords seem to reference anything (and some seem to just be random characters).
I've only seen a few that weren't in the top 10k most found passwords in irl hacks. While I've seen a number of passwords that seemed to fit with the target being cracked it mostly appears random
bruh every american thing is famous overseas, i believe many people outside US know or ever heard about watergate scandal
had no idea, i cant name a single European scandal off the top of my head. there was that 40 day British PM a few years back, that was pretty funny
