Why don't we have mayor for TORN
He controls taxes, prices, etc..
He gets paid through taxes.(Not much Maybe like 1m-10m per day depending on the majority/gap he won by)
Citizens can rebel any time
He/She/They can resign anytime
Elections can happen every 6 months or 3 months
A person can become a mayor for only 2 consecutive times and after that he can't compete for 1 more elections and then he can do it again.
A small listing fee to enter the elections (50m+)
Maybe
People could bribe mayor openly or secretly to higher or lower the prices
This sounds like bankruptcy for many players but only items available in markets can be controlled
Markets in the city not the item market
