Needed to buy a expensive weapon to attack somebody with but after that needed to give him the weapon.
The bad part is it gave us an user that stop playing so we can't trade and just lost money.
Please update the quest system
It probably does the same on some other mission.

Usually the quest reward pays for the value of the gun + a little more, check how much money you got.

I know I've had some similar duke missions where its told me to buy an edvd, package it and send it to duke and the cash rewards is always more than the price of the edvd

Don’t worry, once you get to level 15 the price of the weapon will become a non-issue. If you need one of those weapons in the future, just ask me.

You are correct, they give you inactive targets for missions. Not a bug, but a feature. Trust me, the missions credits are far worth any cash or energy you might have lost out on during the mission, so keep them going! :)

Uh, yeah... I, *cough* ... need ... one of those weapons. Duke wants me to have either a 30% Plunder Yasukuni or Dual MP5s. Thanks!

As was answered, you misunderstood the mission - the objective is to send the item, not trade it. All mission targets are inactive. This isn't a fault in the mission but rather in your understanding of such. Because this isn't really a discussion and the matter has been addressed sufficiently, this thread has been graved.
