I set bounties anonymously but the person noticed that it was me. What is the purpose of anonymous then?

There's a company perk that allows to do a bounty reversal. The advantage in doing anonymous is that it's not cheap to buy it.

As mentioned above, anonymous bounties can be unmasked using company specials. There is a stock perk (Syscore MFG) that blocks this company special, so if you want to be truly anonymous, you can do so. Or you can hire a bounty service to place the bounties for you., you can find these under Attacking sub-forum.
