Why is it that so much AI generated text just sounds like pretentious wank?

Long words and multiple clauses don't make you sound more intelligent. They're more likely to make you sound like a pompous twat.

And if it isnt, still aint taking advice from a 28 day old

And btw learn the game before you try telling ppl how to play it.

I don't understand the point of posts like this. Nobody wants to engage with AI generated nonsense that doesn't actually say anything. Is negative karma farming becoming a speed run event?

Disclaimer: I'm not a leader in my faction at this point, so take everything with a grain of salt.

The alliances we forge can make or break our journey in Torn. It's not just about joining the most powerful faction; it's about aligning with those whose goals, strategies, and ethical stances resonate with ours. How do you choose your allies, and more importantly, how do you maintain these alliances amidst the shifting sands of politics and power within Torn?

I'd generally prefer steadfast allies, even if they arent the strongest in stats. We can help each other, grow together, all that stuff. We were part of the Brotherhood of War alliance earlier. They were, and still are, solid friends who we fought multiple wars with. One of them, a war on smth almost turned into a rout when the whole bloody group sectored themselves to aid their small faction in S7. It was pretty amazing to see. And we had fun, even came out on top with smth becoming kinda allies, through some really great politicking.

The previous war was pretty fun too. The alliance we were in, Ride or Die, held firm along with JFK and crypto. Even though we ultimately lost in the end, we had fun. Made new friends, strengthened relations with some old ones that we never truly knew, showed off our strengths.

It's not the only way, but that's a good way to create and maintain ties in shitty sands as you put it. Wars are a good time to show off. Show them what you're truly made of! We have practically done it this way, since we didn't have any established players when we started here 3-4 years back. The friendships you form could put your foot through the door, but need to maintain it too.

One fun thing about torn I've noticed is that guesting is often used as a relationship building thing. It's not overtly formal, and pretty neat way to get an idea of another faction and foster ties I think!

How do you gather and utilize information to strategize your moves in the game?

I mostly just keep an eye on the forums/ talk to people. There are folks with really good 'spy' networks. I half suspect ovoxo's sent the announcement from all factions/alliances before they're made Lots of facs/alliances used to be secretive about very mundane stuff -- like which factions were in what alliances for example . It's changed a lot since the island war. The faction lists are public. Little need to hide your allegiance!

Boy here is wicked smaht

I was just hoping you could spare a minute, and give me some insight into the evolution of the market economy in the southern colonies?

My contention is that uhh, prior to the Revolutionary War, the economic modalities, especially in the southern colonies, could most aptly be characterized as agrarian, pre-capitalist...
