Lately I’ve thought pets would be a fun addition to the game, say different breeds of dogs with different boosts for gym gains, maybe a parrot for learning boosts, and even just a fish for small happiness boosts. Does anyone else think this could be a cool idea.

before i knew torn i played a bootleg torn version called mafia city for windows phone, it didn't featured pets but instead companions, npc-card likes that helped you in combat and you could upgrade them. you could just spend real money to buy the strongest ones, basicaly pay to win
Used to be dogs back in the day. But more for an activity vs your actual fighting. Could breed several different dogs together, train them and then see how well they do fighting other dogs! Was fun.
