Sorry if it seems a daft question does losing to a crime in a faction - your faction vault we did a bomb threat and lost and now the faction fault says minus $ and every time we put money in our vault it goes higher how do I resolve this thanks xx

Um not entirely sure what the question is so ill try my best to answer what I understand.

First this most likely has nothing to do with the fail on bomb threat. Afaik crime fails cannot make your faction lose money. They can only give you respect and money on a success

Secondly when a factions balance is negative like in this example message:

Member balances account for $100,000,000 with -$10,000,000 of the faction's funds remaining.

That means the the sum of the balances is greater than what the faction actually has in its vault (ie if player 1 and 2 have collecive balances of 10 million, but the faction only actually has 5 million). The main reason this happens is because people use the payday function instead of the give-to-user function. Payday - Gives money directly from the faction vault bypassing user balances. Give to user - Gives money to the user, but also adjusts faction balances

I believe your issue stems from the fact you are using payday to pay users their balance instead of give to user. But if you could clarify the question I may be of more assistance

The failed organized crime has no bearing on the vault balance issue. They are unrelated.

Could also be a member with a negative balance. If you asked for money you didn't have, and they sent it without thinking, you'd have a negative balance. Some factions may allow a certain extent of borrowing. eg: You need money while flying. You could borrow money from a faction, assuming they allow it, and that there is sufficient money in the vault that exceeds the value of the loan.

Flare is right about the payday loan thing. That could cause a negative faction funds balance, but if it's members with negative balances, they were sent money they had never deposited.

Just a quick glance at your faction, you have 5 members, and 4 of them are leaders, 2 of which are green leafs.

I think it's pretty obvious what's happening with your money. Why don't you check the logs at the bottom of the faction page?

Figure out where the money is going?

The original post made almost no sense, some screenshots would really help in clarifying things.

You really need to learn to read logs, if your faction balance is negative it means someone is taking money thats not theirs.

Either using a function incorrectly (Payday vs Give Money) or someone is just outright stealing it under your blind nose.

Editing the correct balances solves nothing if theres a thief.

Example of why anyone with less than 1 year should not be running a faction. Yes, I know they have a high age, but EXTREMELY low activity with inactive for 1.5-2 years in the middle.

IDK why everyone has vault access to GIVE money. That's just asking to get ripped off. Every day, people post about factions getting robbed. Stop giving money access to people you don't know!

agreed with others. Looking at funds history is the only way to find the answers.
Here's the link to see all faction funds activity (scroll down): https://www.torn.com/factions.php?step=your&type=3#/

If a member has a negative balance, consider searching their name in faction logs (same page as link). Thieves with permissions can give themselves armory items also.
co-leader 2, co-leader 3 with extremely young accounts? This is a mistake unless you are real friends and know where they live in real life.

Update if anyone is interested it just seems like they just didn't know how to use the faction vault/money editing permissions (potentially thinking it gives them infinite money):

I dont think, any money was stolen as there's still money in the balance, but I didn't see the fund history
