Hello guys. I want to focus more on fighting in the future but i want to start now even if my stats are quite low (around 300m). Is it worth to invest time in the HEG grenade and make 100% xp plus level 10 merits in temps?

Probably not, you'll surpass their usefulness when you approach higher levels, that's when smokes, tears, and needles will fill out most of your temporary usage.

HEGs are great at low levels because they are accurate, do high damage, and can often times one shot people. When you get to the higher levels, HEGs just kinda lose all that magic as they just don't do enough damage to actually make or break a fight.

If all you do is chain, and use low level target lists, I could see it being worthwhile, but for the endgame and actual wars at higher levels and stats, not worth it.

I will say tho that out of all the temps you can gain EXP with, HEG is arguably the best.

Completely agree with Ohadik here, HEGS are great at lower level but there comes a point where they are pretty useless. When your chaining, most factions ask that you aim for max fair fight bonus and aim for 3-4 respect per target as a minimum. In a fight where fair fight is at its highest, using a HEG will likely lose you the fight. Smokes in my opinion are a fight changer.....if the opponent cant hit you, they cant beat you. Injections are the higher end, more expensive temps that provide passive boosts to your own stats, rather than lowering your opponents but they aren't always worth the cost compared to smokes and you shouldn't really be using them on a stat under 500m minimum, in my opinion.
