API request - Auction House

Hi,

Sorry to create a bug report for this, but I can either create a thread in suggestion forum which will take decades to get a simple reply for or reach out to Ched directly but then others won’t be aware of this.

Is it possible to add API section for Auction House?
Like, just a simple list of items with their bonuses, current bid and auction end time?

I know you’re working on Item Market 2.0 which will also improve Auction House, but I’m just wondering if it’s possible to add a simple API like suggested above before all of that is done? (assuming current item market/bazaar API will also get replaced at that point)

I had asked about this last year after we revamped the Auction House and Ched had declined the suggestion.

We can't provide that many listings at once, it's way too much data unfortunately.

I think I have a different "solution" to the problem.

Could we then have new log category called "Auction house item bid receive", where it says "X placed a bid of $y on your action of a z"?

Not the maximum bid amount as that could be abused - but the current value of what's in the AH at that moment?
