Stocks still exist, they still move here and there and people earn on them albeit less than before. They nerfed ridicolous inflation potential, they didnt remove feature all together.

Looking at the list of top 100 battle stats.
The top 7 people have stats in the quintillions. If you scroll all the way down to number 100, stats drop to almost 38 billion. Now 38 billion stats is still a shit load, but doesn't seem outside the realm of possibility.
Was it intended for players to reach stats in the quintillions? Obviously not, if steps are being taken to stop it. So my question to you is, if 7 people out of, i don't know say hundreds of thousands of accounts were able to accomplish something that wasnt intended. Would you fix it, and let those 7 be outliers, or would you let the whole goddamn player base keep going, eventually reaching stat levels that are truly ridiculous, as if quintillions weren't already.

I think most of us overlooked the 'build your character to infinite strength ' part. Ched defaulted that we should be strength whore when he created torn.
Your last comment really shows how little you understand Torn, and it contradicts your whole argument. The add says "build your character to infinite strengths" and then you're upset that players have built their characters to infinite strengths.

Having been on here for over a decade, having supported you guys monetarily (yay I have blue name that means nothing) for almost 2600 days, I've come to the realization that this game is never going to progress.

Trade chat is still a spam fest lol. Stocks were nerfed after I started and why does me having a blue name matter in this post at all? I think it’s irrelevant and people use it as a way to disregard what I say.

Here’s what is rarely said out loud:
Torn needs revenue to pay for the servers and make sure the paid staff don’t have to get other jobs.
Revenue is a function of how many people pay for DPs.
DPs bought is a function of the % of player base with passive income over ~25 mil (or whatever DP pack value is in Torn cash) per month + training expenses (call it 80 mil per month)….
They can’t prevent the DP secondary market because part of DP sales are due to people who want to convert them to cash.
So their option, really, to control who has passive income over ~25 - 100 mil per month. Anything that makes it to easy for the masses to get into that range WILL be nerfed because it’s a threat to the long term viability of Torn. Ched won’t run Torn for free, and he sure as hell won’t run it at a deficit. You wouldn’t work for free either.
