Honestly it feels like the chronicles are a touch of a miss...the world building is good, yet it doesn't mention important early Torn people/factions.
I believe that this could be remedied easily via sporadic name drops. So the chronicles seem like they'd be a good way to world build but they seem to not talk about any of the influential individuals pre-Ched which seems like a miss:
Names-
I'd imagine Leslie would be old enough to have been around in those days. Potentially have a young Leslie involved in something...
Some random name drop ( Steve-) - part of the Council, real smooth type.
Alice- could be a voice of restraint when someone wanted to go full on war?
Tommy- real firecracker, short temper, became so terrible that even Torn couldn't tolerate him. Could be considered first fedding or perhaps he just ditched Torn to do his Tommy stuff?
Or use neglected bots such as Prime,Superior etc
Otherwise you end up with the 'Skywalker effect' where the events only happen to a small cast, which seems to ruin the immersion of a setting
