Are people getting an income from this game? If so, how? I know of some games that dont prohibit real money transactions, so Im curious if this is one of them.

The only real money transactions allowed are buying donator packs from the game or becoming subscriber. P2P real money transactions are strictly prohibited.
I also don't even recommend trying anything like that. Thanks to the log system you can be tracked and permabanned for things you did years ago.
So if you're talking about making rl money from the game, then absolutely no. (Unless you become paid developer)
