The honest answer though is it depends on the person. Some people just buy a few dps to get started, some people ranked war, some people trade etc
The most common money making methods for newbies are travel(was nerfed recently), ranked war (requires you to find a faction that wont take advantage of you), selling losses, investing in stocks or the bank, joining a company that has a profitable job special etc.
