My idea could use some additional ideas but I have a general sense of how this could work. What if there was a queue for people wanting to make the next hit in the chain? People could reserve their hit in the chain, far in advance or right away. There could be a target number for whatever size chain you want and people could reserve their place. It would be useful for factions, so less communication is needed during a war. If anyone has additional thoughts on this idea, I would love to hear them!

What if someone wanted to make an attack without reservation? Should he be prevented from attacking altogether (which would cause a ton of other problems), or would his hit just not count in the chain (which just wouldn't make sense).
Feels like just another unnecessary handholding that would create more problems than it solves.
Anyone would still be able to attack as normal and it could count as part of the chain. Just something to structure the chain more.
If you feel the need for a scheduled list of chain hits, by all means go use a spreadsheet program to create it.
This does not need to be implemented as a feature in torn.
