*IDEA CHANGED*!

After hearing the feedback I agree now that wouldn’t be a proper way to go about things for a few reasons one being just because a player is older doesn’t mean their network is going to be higher. Also new players do have RW as a pretty substantial income that older players did not.

I guess the better question is what unique point sinks could be added to the game to potentially be able to still have the floor value of pawnshop trading??

Neliex [2857538]

I don't agree making older players pay more for refills is correct way. Tax them in some other way depending on their networth  I would understand but making same action cost more wouldnt be correct way.

Chosen [1990108]

The current rehab system works in this way.  Cost going up overtime using the service.  Do you think it would be so bad for refills to be the same?

Wolverine [1971836]

with the current crime system we already nerve refill at a loss, so absolutely no to making nerve refills more expensive.

same for energy refills that give only 150 energy at the cost of a xanax that gives 250 energy.

Also age and level has nothing to do with networth (and networth can be hidden by putting money in the faction vault)

Quackor [3097913]

that would only screw new players, as older players got all their refills for the minimum price

just add hair that can be bought with points

Chosen [1990108]

Valid.  Would you have any ideas on additional point sinks to counterattack the trillions that gets injected into the economy per the comments from devs?

EigenGrau [3278579]

The main problem here is not "how new players would fare 2 years down the line", but "how do we make early game less unfun". And higher consumption of points would drive the point price up (and make flush imports more profitable, thereby increasing income for new players).

Quackor [3097913]

why is late game more fun than early game?

to me being not able to attack people was the boring part, at first in wars I had no targets I could defeat... how do you fix that? only by attracting new players all the time

and it IS the main problem, its hard as it is to try to compete in this 19 year old game being a new player, lot of people quit because of that, lets not make it harder to play for new people

Gladion20 [1832984]

New unlikely brainstorm idea: once a month event where if the community spends a certain number of points Ched becomes attackable for a day.

Scrattch [2816536]

I'd say they should sell cosmetics but it would probably take too many years.

A simpler idea that could infuse a little fun -> auction off a dirty bomb once a month where you bid with points.

Azami [1702779]

So you want to penalise the players who have spent years playing this game to help the newer players?

The newer players today have it so easy already compared to when everyone else started, i think a lot of people seem to forget this. You can sign up and become billionaires in no time at all through ranked warring and slutting etc

The only way to sort it out is to find something to remove points from the game. Such as:

Additional casino games using points

Trading points for new items

Requiring factions to spend the points the RW generates on other faction upgrades.

Maybe make holding territories use points, will stop so many people hogging the map etc

Xerra [2775419]

Random dirty bombs going off every month is probably going to stir up the natives a bit, for sure, but this doesn't actually make sense.

If you bid with points on said dirty bomb and get outbid then you just get your points back, which isn't really using them, is it?

And, if you're suggesting that everyone who bids points and doesn't win then has their points removed anyway, then you're going to piss a lot of people off.

Why punish players for just being older?!

Literally makes 0 sense.

All it would do is cause more restarts for users who aren't successful but old.

Shooby [2510470]

networth can be hidden though. I've had my own faction(s) for the vault aspect since I made my account. My networth has never been accurate.

Edit: oops didn't see someone else already mentioned this.

Threedog [2346786]

That's possibly the most boring shit as a new player, watching the rest of your faction make millions while your making pennies for outside chain hits (alot of the times losses sell for more) is *not* a good time.
