"Elective Courses" would be courses you can sign up for as many times as you want. They would work the same as any other education with regards to timer reductions and so on, and the only thing you get out of them is some working stats. Pretty simple really. Possibly exempt them from "free education" stock benefits to use them as a money sink as well, and just change "free education" to "free degree education" since electives would not fall under one of the 12 degrees.
