Keepsakes

In this weeks patchnotes I noticed Ched is working on something I haven’t seen before:

Joe: Crimes 2.0 / Organized Crimes 2.0 / Halloweek / Keepsakes / Chat 3.0 / Player interaction log on profiles

English is not my main language so had to look up what it Keepsakes means. Keepsakes is “a small present, usually not expensive, that is given to you by someone so that you will remember that person” 

what could it be? A new event? Something to do with TORN getting 20 years old? 
what do you think it could be? 

Possibly a new system to replace the points shop? 100% speculation (guessing) but keepsakes would be a cool name for something like that. 

If I were to guess, he's going to make it so competition giveaways become account locked. As in, if you look in my display you'll see a scammer in the slammer. I won that, if I wanted to trade it right now I can. 

I think he's trying to restrict that.

Whatever it is lets hope it is not a 2.0. We will be waiting months if not years to have it open. Then the time we wait for it to work. We could all be dead. 

I hope that's not it.... Locked items would be worth nothing, so you'd basically have really cool shit that serve no purpose other than display case candy.

You might have a point, at least based on the description.

If he locks queen masks before I have the NW to blow them up every month I will be very upset.

I really hope it’s something else like a giveaway event around the 20th anniversary… locking items would be stupid imo (unless I overlook something)

well as a keepsake can we keep selling points at the pawnshop ffs....
