I will try to structure my response into 3 parts so I can be very clear and to avoid misunderstanding:
- Intent of script
- script and probabilistic strategies
- contextualisation of betting systems aka probabilistic strategies
Note: if it is your belief that this script is pointless that is all good, it is not my intention with this reply to change your mind. just to clearly explain that your statement of “There is no strategy to Russian Roulette.” and “No, there isn't lol. It's RNG” contradict themselves without you even noticing and make it clear the intent of the script.
1.Intent of Script
As stated on this thread title the key goal of the script is to log the Russian roulette actions, meaning the script will log the win loss results of the latest games, it will log what barrel containing the bullet and if it was even or odd and it will also log the pot value, this information is than displayed to the user above the Russian roulette container.
Note: all this information can be obtained on the last games page (win /loss and pot value) and on the log page (even /odd).
2.Script and Probabilistic strategies
Associated with having this events logged there is also a possibility for the script to calculate the next bet value based on any rule predefined being it increase bet size on win, increase bet size on loss, decrease bet size by half increase by 3 times whatever rule the user might want to define in line with the strategy being employed by the user.
to make it very clear I am not claiming that probabilistic strategies give you a sure way to make money neither am I claiming that this script is a probabilistic strategy nor a sure way to make money on RR, THIS IS SIMPLY AN ACTION LOG.
3. Contextualisation of betting systems aka probabilistic strategies
in this I will start by quoting Wikipedia:
”Mathematically, no betting system can alter long-term expected results in a game with random, independent trials, although they can make for higher odds of short-term winning at the cost of increased risk, and are an enjoyable gambling experience for some people.”
With this the point I am trying to make is that strategies do exist, are they a sure way to make money? definitely not, are they risky? Yes, are they used on a game with no bet limit, house control and with fake money? Undoubtedly yes.
and the reason why the strategies exist and can and are applied in the torn casino is exactly because it is random RNG, this is what make the Russian roulette a game with random and independent trials where betting systems and strategies can be employed.
Again as to make it cristal clear I am not saying that the strategies are a sure way to make money, but are a risky approach that some chose to employ.
