I have tried 2 happy jumps, an od'd on ecstasy both times.
I've overdosed 3 times out of 76 drugs taken. So a 3,94% od record.
Is this normal? Or am I just unlucky like my faction members tell me?

ecstasy OD chance is 5% i think so no your not unlucky and your average should start moving to around 5%

Ecstasy od's can really hurt when you're happy jumping. I'd recommend getting the jumps insured, if you want.

you’re unlucky that you od’d at the very end of an Happy Jump but toleration perks really help. Move to a better faction!

They both - if I remember right - also offer insurance for other things, such as each individual Xanax you take, however, that's not recommended for newer players like yourself, as it will almost definitely cost you much more than overdosing on the occasional Xanax will cost you (even the 4th one).
You probably were slightly unlucky, as many might overdose just once during their first 5-6 jumps, while others can go longer, however, it balances out long-term (somewhat); when you overdose 2-3 times consecutively, you should get a few weeks or so without any overdoses, especially if you're in a faction with maximum (30%) drug toleration.
Also, invest as many merit points as possible into your drug mitigation, it'll really help reduce the frequency of this happening in the future (overall, need to think long-term in this game).

I'm going to make a wild guess and say OP's first language isn't English (and an even wilder guess that maybe it's Danish, given their honor bar).
In my language (not Danish) the word for percent is also procent.
