I've have really tried enjoying this game, but it's a hit-or-miss experience so far. Servers seem pretty empty for a free-MMO, as I might see one player per session, if I'm lucky. The missions are easier sometimes than they should be, but I love the creativity of the artists, as far as enemy design.

Does anyone have any thoughts about their experience with it?

I played season 1 for the first few weeks. Far as I know, none of the content got much harder although i certainly did not complete a full playthrough. I hit a point that I cleared an area, and when I went o go collect the beacon or whatever, I wasn't allowed because I wasn't the right level. That pissed me off because I was able to clear the content, but without any rewards at a lower level. Seemed like a dumb set-up.

Plus I knew the 6 week season reset was going to occur. It just pushed me off from playing more and I faded away to just not touching it at all. Knowing I would go back to a completely reset game/character gives me no desire to go back.

If they introduced seasonal content, but kept the main storyline progression as it was, I'd be fine. I can't be arsed to put in Hours of work each day to finish the story within their 6 week time constraint. It's dumb.

That whole clearing the area, and not being able to activate the beacon didn't make any damn sense. I was thinking "what the hell did I do all that for?"

Yeah, that was the last real time I actually logged in. I'd be willing to go back if they had more "permanent" servers but currently, the game is set-up to cater to streamers/no-lifers that can dedicated all their waking hours to it.

Edit: I will say though, I did really enjoy the game mechanics, enemies, environment etc. I love crafting mechanics and the upgrading available, but losing all the progress because I've got other things going on is such a bummer.

it's a pretty decent game, if not for their Server System.... imagine starting on a server and wanting to invite your friends only to find out that your server has reached capacity of users and you would all have to start over in another server. that kind of server kinda leaves a bad taste where eventually you would be left with very few players in a server and would need to wait for some sort of server Merging. But the gameplay and everything else is okay
