A great chunk of all of the game's money is locked up in stocks. I suggest a new crime that would allow someone with skills in computer science, to hack into a target's stocks and perhaps pick a stock and steal a bunch of them (like 1%).

Or the ability to be able to "hack" the stock market and adjust a price upwards or downwards that only you can benefit from. For example, upon successful completion of the crime, you'd be able to change the price of a stock (only for yourself) for five minutes, so you could either buy cheap, or sell high.
The crime could be high risk in order to be potentially damaging to crime exp, with a high amount of Jail time, but would be high reward in the sense that a player could potentially make a decent chunk of cash from playing the fixed price.
This would get abused like crazy no matter the risk.
OP suggestion:
Hell no! Stocks is a "Money vault" for many. easy to story money. I don't want others to easily break into mine and steal the cash.
Instead of bounties you could throw a name out there and an army of people will steal your safed money.
"manipulate" the market:
HEEEEEEELL no!
A few weeks back someone asked the top 100 SE consumers how they afford their diet. Many of them said "stocks".
So they earn enough money to afford multiple items worth 500m$.
If you could now "manipulate" a stock for a measly 1% you could put your whole saving in it (let's say 100b$)
And earn that 1 % (1 billion $!!!!) for what? 10 Nerve and the chance of getting into jail? I hope you see why i think that's a horrible idea!
With enough nerve and a high enough CE you could double your NW. Every day!
