Hey everyone,
so I can’t get ahead with card scamming!
I’ve got the cameras and card scanner but every time I try it fails,
any ideas? Do I need to do the computer education first, level up more (lvl3)?

Bootlegging is also safe for starting crime experience. All search for cash actions have various time/date/circumstance restrictions that determine how successful they will be, and when none of those are working for you, copying DVDs is a good option to use your nerve on (just don't try to sell them till you have a whole bunch of each genre, and some more experience).
Once you have around 20 crime skill in each of the first two, can try doing graffiti with the first two city areas. Those are low-risk crimes that tend to give pretty good early crime XP. Try again for card skimming after you have about 40 in the first three crimes. It should work fine for you then.
