It would be cool if players were able to give each other client side nicknames. Bonus points if nicknames are included when searching.
I was recently looking for an old company director of mine and it turns out they changed their name which made them hard to track down. Had their name instead displayed to me as whatever I set it to it would've been a breeze.
We already have this - your god-given name is 2282863, while your nickname is woyzer. Simple.
while this is accurate I don't intend on remembering every person I meets ID. IMO it would still be a nice QOL to have changeable nicknames
That's why FL 'remembers' the ID.
you have a nickname, its your ingame nickname.
