Everyone has to press the thumbs up on your forum post to earn Karma. Next time ask questions in the Q&A
14:24:11 - 10/12/24 You sent a Kama to DaniellesLife
You earn karma by being really cool (and by posting in the correct thread)
edit: to answer your question properly, karma is gained when people upvote your forum posts/threads and karma is lost when people downvote your forum posts/threads.
There are exceptions to this, as always, the rules are as follows (which are taken from the wiki - here):
A player will not receive/lose karma in the following scenarios:
- The post is under thirty characters long
- The thread is locked or in the graveyard
- The thread is in your faction’s forum, company forum or elimination contest forum
- The post is a comment in the Trading Post forum
- The person liking/disliking the post is a new player, or has not posted in the forum in a long time
- The person liking/disliking the post has been mass-rating a single user’s posts
Oops, where would that be!?
questions and answers :)
Post timeless but relevant crap that’s either funny or informative. Being psychotic psychologically abused psycho psychic also helps.
Thx for the kama!!!
And sorry for posting in the wrong spot, still learning.
I suggest being able to read would be a good start :)

Long and short of it: by offering value to the community in some form or another. Get creative and have fun.
That can mean you've created something...
- Informative/helpful (helping a player, a guide, sharing a strategy/tip, etc.)
- Entertaining (memeing and shitposting being the most popular)
- Wholesome (Community events, quality conversation, positive encouragement)
Losing karma is ironically a lot harder and for whatever reason still a sought-after goal of some, it would seem. That generally takes the path of...
- Unoriginal or tired content
- Batshit insane shit-takes that are understood as unironic and actually real
- Stirring drama (this is a very fine line between earning seemingly great karma or having your bunghole blown up)
- Continuing to play a character nobody likes and generally not "f**king off".
It's important to remember that karma only matters as little or as much as it does to you. Your karma generally doesn't actually mean anything to nearly any others (exception to the few select weirdos in the game). The forum should primarily serve your own interests and mental health above anything else. If you're not having fun it's best to take a break. Various subforums can offer a range of experiences (for example, I stay out of Politics and Law wagering that everyone in there enjoys masturbating with sandpaper) so if one sub isn't doing it for you, others may. Many other users may just quietly lurk for whatever value they require (staying updated, finding APIs or tutorials, etc.).

having your bunghole blown up.....
I nearly pissed my pants laughing so hard.
