New Game!
Day change when I post the daily post, I will announce the major changes, the map and the events. It is not tide to the TORN Day.
New map game, claim land, build nation, and wage war!
How to Play
1. Nation claiming
To start a nation, click Here and click the province you want to claim. You can claim at max 8 province to start. After claiming, take a screenshot of the claimed land, describe where it is on the map (e.g. southern France, Northern Canada). Provide the HEX code of the colour you want, and the Name of Your nation. Claiming a nation will take all your daily movement (see below)
Claim rules:
1. All starting states must be connected, some exception are allowed but ask before claiming(dm me)
2. Daily Movement
You have 5 Movements per day, each action cost some movements, most cost 1 while some take more. There are ways to increase your daily movement, which will be showed later. If you try to do more actions than your movements allowed, I will complete as much as it allow from first to last.
3. Nation Stats
Nations have 5 stats: Army, Navy, Defence, Technology, and Economy.
Army: Main aggressive stats, every 10 lvls will +1 to your max dice roll in a land battle. (e.g. lvl. 42 army will have a roll of 1-10) Army cannot be 3x higher than Eco or there will be a high chance of uprising
Navy: Secondary aggressive stats, required for some naval actions. Max roll same with army. While in a naval invasion, the lower stats between army and navy will be considered. (e.g. lvl 42 army and lvl 10 navy, the dice will be 1-7) Navy cannot be 3x higher than Eco or there will be a high chance of uprising
Defence: During a defensive battle, every 25 lvl will reduce your min roll by 1 (e.g. lvl 99 defence and lvl 42 Army will have a roll of 4-10) You can only apply at max 2 movement to defence every day.
Technology: Every 25 lvl of technology higher than your opponents will shift your dice by +1 (e.g. you have 79 lvl of tech advantage will have a dice of 4-9) Technology cannot be higher than economy, and the advantage cannot apply more than the lvl of aggressive stats (e.g. lvl 79 tech with lvl 42 army will have only +1 advantage)
Economy: Every 25 lvl of Economy will give you 1 more daily movement. (e.g. lvl 105 eco will give you 9 daily movement.) You can only apply at max 3 movements to economy every day.
Actions
These are the actions you can do every day, each action will be done in midnight of each game day.
Apply stats: Apply an amount of movement to certain stats. Remember there are limits to how much you can apply for them (read Stats)
Abandon Province: If you think you cannot hold a province, You can abandon them. This could be useful if you do not want to waste your aggressive stats on some far away province. (See Battle) Take 1 movement
Declare War: Declare war on Nations that are controlled by other players. You need to wait 24 Torn hours before you can invade them. You do not need to declare war on province without nations (Grey). Take 5 Movements.
Form alliance: Propose an alliance with other nations, they need to accept to join. Invitations will expire after 2 days. Take 5 Movements to invite with +2 movements for each existed/invited nations, and 5 Movements to join an alliance (e.g. Coalition have 5 nations, the Leader of Coalition need 15 movements to invite Latvia, while Latvia only need 5 movements to join.) An alliance can only have at max 10 nations.
Trade: propose a trade with other nations, 1 stat point for 1 stat point. Takes 1 movement per stat point traded. (e.g. France propose a trade to UK to exchange 10 lvl of Navy with 10 lvl of Army, costing 10 movements) The target nation need to accept the trade in 2 days. Nations cannot propose or accept trade if there are not a route between the opposite nation.
Land invade: start a battle with in an enemy province with one of your neighbouring province, (see Invasion for further info). Take 5 movement per invasion started.
Take Naval control: Take naval control of a body of water, other enemy nations can start a naval battle with you in the next 2 day period. You will gain control if you are able to win 70% of the battles. Only 1 body of water can be controlled, if you tried to control more than one, you will lose the older controls. The body of water must border one of your province. Needed for embargo. Take 10 movements to start and 5 for each day held.
Naval invade: start a naval invasion with one of the enemy shore province with one of your shore province that are reasonably close to it. (See invasion) You need to have Naval control of the body of water that your enemy provinces' shore bordered to start one. Take 25 movements and 2 days.
Declare Embargo: Declare embargo on a non-allied nation. Can be both naval and land embargo, blocking trade route that goes through your province and controlled body of water. If a nation are embargoed in every border, it will enter full embargo, decreasing their 1+(days embargoed/4) lvl on economy every day, and round down to the last int. . (e.g. Switzerland is under embargoed for the 14th day, their economy will decrease by 4 today.)
Raid uprising: Prevent your nations to go into uprising in the next day, effectiveness goes down by 10% for every consecutive days used. Take 5 movements.
Call to war: Call allied nation to war, they have to accept it. Expire in 2 days and take 5 movements to call a nation or to join a call.
Sign peace treaty: sign a peace treaty between you and enemy country(s). You can include demands in the treaty but that may affect the opponents will to sign it (e.g. France propose a peace treaty with Spain and Switzerland with a demand of non-aggression pact for 30 days.) Take 5 Movements to sign, expires in 2 days.
Sign non-aggression pact: Propose a non-aggression pact to non-allies that you are not at war with for certain amount of days, Signed nations cannot declare war on each other in the period. Take 5 movements to sign, expires in 2 days.
Propose Annexation: ask another nations to give you their province, they have to agree. Take 25 movements, expires in 2 days.
Other: TBA
Invasion
Land Invasions are basically battles between two nations located in two bordering province. The nation who started that specific invasion will be the attack side and the another will be defence side. Defence side will be able to benefits from their defence stats. After an invasion has started, a dice will be rolled in the NEXT day change, which the winner will be declared.
If the attacker win, they will now own the province, with and minor loss in army stats. The defence side will lose moderate amount of army stats, the province, and a minor amount of eco stats will be given to the attacker.
If the attacker lost, they will lose many (not crazy amount though) army stats, and the defence side will lose a minor amount of army stats.
Naval invasions are mostly explained in Actions, but there are more info: The defence side will have double defence advantages.
Encirclement: If a province are not bordering any ally province or body of water, their defence will be halved, and they will lose extra army stats.
Naval battle: naval battle are just like land battles, but with the naval control explained in Actions.
Events
Events are things that happed that no nation started, including uprising, and more will be added in the future.
Uprising: Uprising may possibly happen when their stats are unbalanced(see Stats), lack of army stats compare to province held, long lasting wars, large amount of province lost in short time(except abandoning), and frequent Raiding.
In an uprising, I will be controlling the rebel provinces, and you will lose stats to them in the % the rebel provinces took in your total province count (e.g. Bavaria start an uprising to Germany taking 3/15 provinces and stats.)
If an uprising is not suppressed for a long time, other parts of the nation may follow their uprising!
