Did you wait for company daily update? Addiction only updates once a day at around 6 tct
Addiction is a hidden Value.
The only way to see it's effect is through Company addiction or if you've got the Symbol (Addiciton - stats are reduced X%). Also -13 addiciton isn't much, it's a bit over 1/3rd of a Xanax (Xanax - 35 addiciton Points; see wiki Drugs) so might need to invest more JPs to see an impact.
For an immediate effect, wait for the Addiction symbol to pop up and then spend some JPs to see it dissapear (or wait for company addiciton to update as IamDaBazooka said above).
