today's my birthday so i was curious about any events or drops i could find, does torn city do anything pertaining to special events like that though, or just holidays and the torn anniversary?

Torn City has never collected your birth information, so it is practically impossible for the game itself to do something to celebrate your irl birthday.
Alternatively, I’ve seen people post similar stuff in Achievements and Donator Forum, so you might as well try your luck and do that, some kind soul may send you a birthday gift.
Also there’s faction chat.
Oh right, it kind of slipped my mind that torn doesn't ask for your birth date on sign-up like most games do, I was really just hoping there'd be better item drops in the city or smth..
thanks for answering anyway though, doll!
It would be cool to have torn birthdays where you get a lil gift every year of playing of torn
On Torn's birthday we all get a nice little cake with +resources to your 4 bars. November 15th
