How does nnb get boosted? Like 10 more nnb for 75 skill in search for cash? Or do you have to get to 100 skill in order to boost nnb?

Spend merits or gain crime xp.  Mine went up from 40-45 2 days ago and 2 months ago it went from 35-40, but i haven't wasted much nerve in that time. Probably made up for it with refills.

I was also just in a faction that gave an extra 40.. that was sweet.

As you gain overall crime exp it will go up over time, the exact triggers are not known and once the threshold has been reached there is rng as to when exactly it will go up.

Just a little bit of education - when someone is asking about their "nnb" they mean their "Natural Nerve Bar", this is what your maximum nerve is WITHOUT any boosts (so no perks, no faction or company bonuses)

Your maximum natural nerve goes up and down purely from gaining and losing crime experience. It is used to estimate that hidden crime XP to judge suitability for higher crimes, compare yourself against other players to see how well you are progressing, etc.

IndyCision [2597200]

It is not directly tied with your skill levels - it goes up pretty much based on the total nerve you have successfully spent in crimes 2.0 (and keeps going up when spending nerve past 100 skill)

There is a small bias towards spending that nerve on the more difficult crimes (But nowhere near as much difference as it made in Crimes 1.0 which is why everyone just used Arsons as a unit of measurement with different crimes being a fraction or multiple of an arson) - so spending nerve in the "hardest crime with a low failure rate" was recommended for NNB growth after you finished maxing skills.
