    Since you mentioned faction > attacks, the answer is not as easy. Most faction calls require a permission "Faction API Access". No call exists to properly check for that. So you would need to do a call that needs that …

Hi,

 

Is there an easy way to check what level an API key is?

 

Our faction pool API keys so I can run a faction competition script.

 

I check if the API key is valid and if the required level by retrieving Torn > User and then Faction (ID) > Attacks

 

Is there an easier way? It would be handy if there was a quick call which would return with "public" or "limited" etc

Since you mentioned faction > attacks, the answer is not as easy. Most faction calls require a permission "Faction API Access". No call exists to properly check for that. So you would need to do a call that needs that permission and if it works you know that the have that permission.
