Seems like lots of worldviews here. What is yours?

It seems like we have every worldview under the sun in Torn.

I'm interested in learning about the foundational assumptions for your worldview. Serious and non-serious.

Examples....

• I have [do not] complete capacity for self-regulation and thus [insert some conclusion]
• My personal freedom should outweigh collective security in most situations, even if it creates vulnerability.
• My acquisition and consumption of material goods have inherent worth regardless of other values or their broader impacts.
• My current life reflects consequences of past actions across multiple lifetimes, with dharma guiding my responsibilities within an interconnected cosmic order
• My sexual identity is self-determined and must be respected by others regardless of tradition.
• My submission to divine will through dedicated practice yields both earthly guidance and eternal salvation
• My individual choices and efforts primarily determine my life outcomes, regardless of systemic or environmental factors.
• My brokenness requires a savior, with Jesus's sacrifice offering reconciliation with God and transforming my purpose in this life and beyond.
• My suffering stems from attachment to impermanent things, with liberation possible through mindful awareness and release of craving

I believe it's important to make sure processes within society are as fair as possible, and that relatively fair processes should be followed and respected even if the outcome isn't in your favor. Freedom and fairness are two things I consider to be very inportant, so I consider myself a Liberal.

I'm unconvinced of the existence of anything supernatural, so I consider myself an Atheist.

From what I've read, it seems likely that Moral Foundations Theory is more accurate than not when it comes to understanding how human psychology works.

I'm honestly generally at a loss for why most people run into the issue of the Mind-Body Split created by the Rationalists and Empiricists rather than just accepting that the mind and body complement each others' work.

I believe in cooperative not solidarity.

I believe in common goals and common sense, than common courtesy.

I do not celebrate individualism, regardless how independent I am. I celebrate team work and self sacrifice for collective progress.

I see things never for what they are, but for what they should be. The past never hurts me. Broken dreams do.

I am all or nothing kind of person. Either I am or not all. 

I am never wrong about people, even when they can not see it yet. Most people believe they are nicer than they really are, but I see them. 

To devote myself for one purpose is what I do naturally. And once I made my commitment for a purpose, it's a matter life or death for me. I will walk on fire for as long as I need to reach that purpose.

I hate lukewarm. Anything shallow and mediocre, I hate that. Hence I do not make fun people appearance or what they have. I make fun for their inside, what they believe in, what they think, and what they do when they think no one knows. The perk of reading people like a book. 

Also cheaper or faster are always better.

I voted the primary virtue as Love. Jesus Christ taught us to love one another through Matthew (quote if that's not the right chapter) and the 12 disciples He had with Him.

Instead of being a king to war upon another enemy nation, He saw peace and salvation was needed for these people and for the Jews—especially the Jews, His people. He is described as the Lion of Judah, so no remorse for those who can't follow what He asked to receive salvation in their heart. He asked for a virgin for the bride chamber of salvation and Heaven to be that guiding light for others. His mother fits that of a virgin for the bride chamber of salvation and Heaven and quite possibly some women who have become Saints through nunnery work or just acting out life in general without referring to tarot cards or black magic as their high grounds. The peace that comes from Love conquers all. Yes, even demons are weak against Love (the Lord) and love to hate the virtue of Love as they are full of hate, malice, wrath, vengeance, envy, pride, slothfulness, lust, and the last two sins. Demons feel true love when they have seeked the Lord in their heart. Their ruler and master of all is the Lord. The difference between us and demons is that they will never have a Holy Spirit and live with a hateful dead spirit of deceit. It's always empty and hollow (virtue-wise) but still a whole spirit. They are real but bow before the mention of the King of the Jews, Jesus Christ. There's no doubt that they see the heart of the Lord within Jesus Christ's spirit. His spirit will always be there in Heaven to watch over the Good as they enter Heaven's gates. He guards the Book of Life along with Heaven's angels. Even the Archangel Michael knows Him and the Word The preached before His departure from body to being only a spirit of Heaven.

The Old Testament has parts about Love I'm sure as one of the original commandments was "Love Thy Neighbor." Samson's story is a good way to see Love turned into betrayal and deceit. Joshua was full of Love for the people of his nation when he had to take charge as Moses' death was imminent. King David ruled his nation with an iron fist, but out of Love, he could continue ruling as king. Without it, God would have never picked him to be king of His chosen people. The story against the Hittites and Philistines was written as those were their enemies. The Jews had to hold their allies close to withstand the wars. Love as allies held them together as nations.

If you want me to talk about reincarnation (mention of dharma... that's not Christian and not mentioned in the Bible), I do believe in reincarnation as it makes sense. Like why would you have a Holy Spirit without being able to change your past actions with a new life? So, I could say my past reincarnation would be that of a Middle Eastern man way back in the day, and I had to murder someone I didn't want to. I changed my past actions by not murdering anyone but my enemy in this new carnation of being a Christian. We both worship the same God. My "karma" would change from bad to good as I follow The Ten Commandments thoroughly and not the Quran. He wasn't an infidel and that could be why I didn't want to kill him in the first place. It was a brother of my faith at that time. Maybe he, too, was reincarnated into a different faith as he got a new body for his spirit to live on. Say, he is now a Hindu or that body and now spirit of that of the Eastern faiths. There's a total shift in beliefs, but he remembers being a Muslim. He contemplates on his past carnation. Why was I murdered? Did I go against my religion? And the answer would be that maybe he didn't in his eyes, and so in his eyes, he wasn't an infidel or an enemy of Allah. To me, my past carnation, told me that he was to be an enemy of Allah. He did something wrong and prayed about it to know of Allah was still accepting of him as a believer of his faith. The Quran even references this as a complete wrong and will send you to Hell (sorry, I don't know the Arabic word for Hell). This man gets completely possessed by a Djinn right before his death as he had accepted demons into his heart and made a pact with them. It was that demon possession and pact with the Djinn that made it where he became Allah's enemy. He was not going into Heaven (again... not knowing the Arabic word but for Heaven). His reincarnated body became that of a different faith since his past carnation was that believing in reincarnation right before death, and he did a wrong in the eyes of Allah. He's more at peace with false gods and demons as his power of his faith, and so his God, Allah, saw it was better for him to be at home with Hindus rather than suffer again the same punishment as an Arab man. He became no longer entangled and trapped within the body as a spirit of Hinduism rather than as a spirit of the Muslim faith.
