How to avoid Item Market Fees Like A Boss

https://www.torn.com/forums.php#/p=threads&f=61&t=16459299&b=0&a=

Bazaar link - https://torn.bzimor.dev/items/bazaar

Limit of 100 items/daily - Flip stackable items by buying from NPC or players & selling to players in item market or back to NPC.

  • beers
  • Blank CDs
  • Bricks
  • Lollipops
  • Face masks
  • Bits & Bob flushies
  • Gasolines
  • ...

Any stackable trash in critical mass (I buy them at less than or about $200) can be resold for at least $999 due to the trash 5K items merit.

Weapons/armor/temps

  • Lower than NPC price

DETAILS

I have contributed this my old faction forum. Just to share what I do best with the faction.

Since most of the the people are pretty experienced here, I will not cover the basics of buying weapons and armor from low to high price to trade with NPC shops to snowball the money earned. But, if you want, I can share more details.

There are certain items in the market that are highly traded. They will appear for a few seconds to split second, so fastest fingers first

Weapons, temp & armor

Scan quickly over each category as some missions require a player to sell and get rid the weapon to complete a mission for $1 or $2. Also, sometimes a player accidently listed it with the wrong price.

Then, scan from low to high for buy/sell price difference. Memorize each item sell price to "steal buy" the gear.

Sell to NPC. Be careful, sometimes after buying a good bulk or single purchase, quickly save the rest of your money in PI vault. Wait for a while as some deals may be too good to be true indicating a buy/mug trap. Usually, I will withdraw only 300K to do this. Once I spotted a very big/bulky good deal, I will then go to vault to withdraw, buy, save the rest into vault and watch a bit. Then sell and save the rest. My best being able to flip about 1 M/hr. But, very much dependent on the seller's market.

General (Scan weapons/armor categories quickly)

  • $1 items (locked to your User ID)
  • $1 or $2 items (completed missions player sold weapons). They will be usually be the first item to appear in that category, since they are sorted in ascending order.
  • Wrongly priced items (e.g instead of 99,999, mistakenly priced at 9.999. It happens.)
  • Temp - grenades, throwing knifes
  • Stackable Junk - My budget is <= $200. Clothing, misc, tools categories. Again, usually the first 2 items to be listed sorted in ascending order.

Medical kits

  • Small first aid kit (can be up to 100s or 1,000s)
  • Large first aid kit
  • Morphine
  • Empty blood bags

Forgery Items

  • Driver's license (can be up to 100s or 1,000s)
  • License Plate
  • Diploma
  • Birth Certificate
  • Travel Visa
  • Prescription
  • Bank Check
  • Skeleton Key
  • Police Badge
  • Passport (never happened yet, but who knows accidental mispricing can happen)
  • Concert Tickets (used to be hot)
  • Subway Pass (used to be hot)
  • Parking Permits (used to be hot)

Clothing

  • Any items <= $200
  • Bandana
  • Proda sunglasses (guess Prada is copyrighted)
  • Sports Shades
  • Bikini
  • Kabuki Mask

Diving gear

  • Diving gloves
  • Snorkel
  • Wet suit

  • Mountie Hat
  • Coconut Bra
  • Trench Coat

Alcohol

  • Champagne
  • Selling beers (if you are buying from newbies) or NPC

Jewelry

  • Items <= $200
  • Diamond rings

Misc

  • Perfume
  • Snowboard (NOT to be confused with stat. enhancer Skateboard)
  • Fire Hydrant
  • Afro Comb
  • Ship in a Bottle
  • Model Toy Space Ship

Good luck!

Note: Next time, if you see good deal items fly off the Item Market, it is most likely I am the one who stole it. 😬

Why any item under $200. Are all items in these categories over $200 normally or is this just to dump?

I've noticed some items appear often under the pei e an npc will buy them for. most of the time I think I make more cash flying.

TheBaddestDude [3304983]

Rather stackable items under $200.

There is a merit for thrashing 5K items, so there is a market.

Some people are rich enough to buy in bulk in the interest of time to attain this merit.

Some people are collectors.

Flying is easier, but there are times you are unable to.

E.g. OC start time, racing or faction banker not around and you need the capital to buy flushies, sleeping overnight, etc.
