Ah okay, that makes sense. Just checked recycling center and blankets aren't sellable there so I can see the reasoning.

In the most recent newspaper article there was a big "Hint" that blankets would be important for the new crime. Speculators bought loads, price skyrockets to 800k, crashes, and then rises again.
They said arson is the next crime. Windproof lighters, gasoline and blankets have all went up in price pretty sure smoke grenades will too.
