As a manager, I can relate that it pisses me off when people leave without any prior notice, but considering how low stakes a 3* AN is and how new you are, it seems a little silly.

It helps to let your manager know when you are planning to leave their company, so they can get time to find a replacement, etc etc

Also if you suspect smone has a multi, you should probably report it as well.

Yet another day of asking the admins to make the forums read only (outside of questions and answers) for anyone with less than 90 days in the game.

I'm semi-paraphrasing from a recent post I read; Companies drop employees without notice and are under no legal obligation to pay a severance package.  So when an employee leaves, they really have little incentive to give a week or two notice.  I would personally give a week or so notice if it was a decent ranked company, with an active director but that is just my opinion. In your case, you did not really have much reason to give them prior warning and honestly probably would have ended the same regardless.

That's kind of funny.

Director should just go find someone in a 2* with the stats and offer them a position in the 3*.

Like a company employee ponzi scheme.

Well the timing depends greatly here. If you have left shortly before 18 tct, an empty spot in the company is a big hit on the profit and popularity of the company. If you had given a notice the director could have asked if you had waited until after 18 tct to leave, so they have the full day to find someone to fill to spot.

Communication matters and could have avoided a lot of hurt feelings.

You should always be giving prior notice and ideally waiting for the director to find a replacement before leaving. This is 100% on you for poor etiquette and poor communication.
