How would one go about « figuring out » what prayer actually does in torn? I feel the caaaalllling to crack the mystery. What kinda church is it anyway? The mystery has me thinking it’s gotta be Easter ortho leaning. Maybe gnostic…. Have any of you experienced visions of the demiurge or their lackeys?
tldr, assemble a team to map the mechanics of prayer??
It does literally nothing besides provide you with a merit for doing it every day for two weeks.
It's just an energy sink for superstitious idiots who think there's some hidden mechanic behind it due to possible coincidental anecdotal experiences.
Same with the rosary beads? (After all 10% of nothing is still nothing)
the complete insane need-to-knower in me has me ready to devote twenty five years vainly trying to solve this mystery though.
do people get into the source code like they do other video games to find bugs and mechanics? Or is everything in these forums just based on experience and data analysis of such experiences?
