yes, before the last major change to the stock market, people used to make money day-trading. Now there's still some people making money slowly by buying low selling high.
as a newer player you're probably looking to make money from other sources first (travelling, 2b bank investment, stock benefit blocks) before you have to worry about making money off of the actual stock trading
But how much do you have to invest in order to get some money that is big enough to make a change?
The stocks are not changing much now. I didn't put much money in, but the most significant changes are only hundreds.
As a new plauer you should prioritize putting 2 billion into your bank. Worry about stocks after that

tbh I use stocks as a bank, unfortunately banking was nerfed and is capped unlike back in the days when players were making billions with uncapped banking…
