The first time I got the screen to enter the T code to login, there was no email send. I had to wait 300 seconds to send another code.

The email service provider that you are using has been notorious for blocking emails from Torn in the past. We have taken steps to avoid mails from getting completely blocked but there can be unavoidable delays. Your best course of action would be to use Authenticator based 2FA (you can change this from your Security settings), it is easy to setup and more reliable than Email 2FA.
