What day was it showing -6 and when was it showing -8?
It should be doing down every company reset.
Did your position also change, or were you always a shampooist?
Edit: Has your faction changed perks too? If they removed the "addiction mitigation" perks from Tolerance that makes your addiction give higher penalties...
