I am new to the game and I was wondering about the energy system. I didnt see any maximum energy upgrades in thr merit points and I didnt see any ways to increase energy quickly, 15 minutes is a long time. Would anyone like to provide some insight?

Only way to increase this is to become a donator/subscriber and you get 150 and it refills every 10 minutes instead of 15
Your energy bar will replenish at a rate that completely fills it to "Maximum" every five hours. Depending on your donator status, this means either 5 energy every 10 minutes (up to 150), or 5 energy every 15 minutes (up to 100).

once you're rich, you can use energy cans (from +5 to +30, plus faction bonuses) or feathery hotel coupons (fully refills bar) to get energy as well
xanax (+250) and lsd (+50) are drugs that provide energy
Donator status, from a donator pack bought with either in game cash or irl cash or the subscription for irl cash will increase max bar to 150 and reduce tick rate to every 10 minutes,
But in all honesty if you find 15 mins a long time then it may not be the game for you, this is a long term slower paced game unless you are trying to speed run but that route usually requires a lot of irl input money.
