I'm currently posting this with TornTools enabled.  I get the same result with Torn Tools disabled.

The only similar thread has a different issue.

DrVoid [2608187] was last active on 24 June, 2025, approximately 18:00 tct;

After 7 days, his status became "hiding out"

On the 8th day, his net worth dropped 10's of biliions of dollars.

 

Is this a bug, has someone hacked the Cayman's bank, does the amount in the Cayman's bank not show on people "hiding out"?

More likely they took all their money out of the bank before logging out.

Daily networth doesn't update on accounts that haven't logged in - but when their status updates to show "hiding out" it does one final snapshot and updates to show current values.

From looking at their defends lost since that day, they were mugged constantly in those 7 days without it updating due to being inactive, and then when they became hiding out it changed to show their post-mug networth.

Thanks for your input.  It's good to know that Net Worth doesn't update without activity.

Taking all of his money out of the bank would not have reduced his net worth, as wallet money is included in net worth.

Yes, he was mugged many times before the Hiding Out phase, and the aggregate amount mugged reflected on the 24th, it was less than 300m.  As his faction leader, I have access to that information.  After a couple of large mugs were noticed, we began doing mug protection until the Hiding Out phase began.

This is the likely series of events...

 

  • Player triggered that day's networth update by logging in.
  • Moved all of their value off of their account.
  • Logged out for 7 days, so no networth updates were triggered.
  • The 7-day inactivity networth update occurred to ensure it reflects the value held on their account since leaving.
