You can join one of the existing rps, but before you do contact the topic starter first. Not all rps are open to be contributions. Another option is to start one of your own. You're free to provide a much or a little information as you like, but I would advice you to be add specific as you can be. Preferred information would be the story line in general, the genre, a character sheet to fill in, what you do and do not allow concerning weapons, powers, etc. and anything else that is important knowledge to those that would like to join. If your story catches, you will find people willing to join.
Additionally you can post something in Wood's Tavern and the role player hub, both topics in this forum, to get a feel of the community. There's also a Discord channel you might want to join. Just ask in the rp hub for the link.
