Torn Chain Payout Calculator

This UserScript calculates chain payouts, generates reports, and manages API keys for Torn, complying with ToS. It includes automatic API key support for Torn PDA users.

Installation

  • Use a userscript extension (e.g., Tampermonkey, Violentmonkey) or the Torn PDA app with automatic API key support.
  • Get the script from Greasy Fork.
  • Add to extension: Click "Install", save, and enable. Works on war.php?step=chainreport and factions.php.

Reconfiguration

  • Xanax Costs: Edit XANAX_COST (default: 840000) and ATTACKS_PER_XANAX (default: 10) in setupChainReportPage.
  • API Key: Set Limited Access key via "Manage API Key" button; PDA auto-configures to '###PDA-APIKEY###'.

  • UI: Change style.textContent (e.g., #4CAF50 for buttons) in script editor.
  • Scoring: Modify ICS formula (attacks * 5 + respect * 100) in calculateAndDisplayPayouts.

Usage

Ensure API key uses minimal permissions for ToS compliance. Install now at Greasy Fork!

Just gave this a try on TornPDA.  It automatically used the apps API key, as expected but beyond that, it doesn't work.

When I try to use the "Calculate Payout" section, it's giving the following error:

A network error occurred. Check your API key and internet connection.

There's obviously nothing wrong with either.  🙋🏻‍♂️

I can see the author is inactive just now, hopefully he's busy updating this, as doing payouts manually makes my head hurt!  🤞🏻😉🤞🏻

Edit: I went back into the Manage API section and this time, hit "Save Key" (I previously assumed it had already saved, as the message indicated this.)  Now, it's giving a different error, an API error, stating that the key is either invalid or doesn't have the right permissions; it's a Limited Access key, which is what's claimed to be required and works perfectly fine overall.  Back to hoping an update is incoming.....
