First, General Studies needs a theme. The capstone course suggests "working stats" but the courses don't support that. In fact, the courses don't give much at all..

GEN2113 : Driving License

- Crime 1.0 perk

- 70 total working stats

GEN2114 : Astronomy

- 90 total working stats

GEN2115 : Mechanical Arts

- 165 total WS

GEN2116 : General Mechanics

- Temp accuracy perk

- 70 WS

GEN2117 : Basic English

- 90 WS

GEN2118 : Creative Writing

- 105 WS

GEN2119 : General Science

- Temp damage perk

- 120 WS

GEN2120 : Survival Skills

- Hunting bonus perk

- 175 WS

GEN2122 : Newtonian Physics

- 150 WS

GEN2123 : Ivory Crafting

- 120 WS

GEN3121 : Bachelor Of General Studies

Gain a 10% working stat increase bonus for all future educations that are completed

This is the only capstone (and only course in general) that affects future courses, urging players to take it early. However, the few perks the degree provides - a bonus to temp weapons, a hunting bonus, and insignificant bonus to working stats every few weeks - lead players to instead leave it for last.

Easy solution #1: Remove the capstone's relationship to other edus; remove its temporal constraint. Try:

"Increase your working stats by 10%, and gain a 10% bonus to all future working stats increases."

Regarding theme:

If GEN is "the working stat degree", make it so! Its courses should have more WS upon completion than any others - many courses in other degrees have better gains and a perk.

We could repackage six courses, two for each working stat. The first is a prerequisite for the second, and the second gives a big increase to that stat and maybe a mini version of the capstone above for that stat.

General Science - 1 week; 100 int, 20 end

Technical Training - 2 weeks, 300 int, 5% increase to future int gains

Or perhaps GEN could give more perks like the hunting bonus as a "general life skills" degree. Racing exp, crime exp, general exp, gym exp; generally any 'mini' version of a few company and education perks as this is General studies!

I'm curious to hear your thoughts. Thank you.
