If you own Syscore MFG stock, and place an anonymous bounty, after waiting the 7 days of course, if you sell the stock the bounty becomes traceable. Figuratively if the firewall is not active, you’re not protected, but if the bounty was placed with stock active it should remain untraceable in my honest opinion. 

for example if you start an education and sell the education stock, you don’t have time added onto your course. 
not entirely sure if it is a bug or not but I figured I would report it anyway as it is relatively easy to resolve

This sounds more logical to me the way it is already. They are affecting the related actions.

 

Education course is a "you are entitled to shorter courses" so takes effect when you enroll on a class.

Bank interest is a "you are entitled to a better investment opportunity" so takes effect when you invest.

Firewall is a "you are not traceable/hackable" so takes effect when someone tries to trace/hack you.

(Your IP etc would still be logged when you had the firewall, they knew where to start looking but were just unable to discover anything while you had the benefit - you've sold the only thing which was protecting you from being attacked with that information)

You are being protected, not your bounties. If you sell your stock block, you lose your immunity to be untraceable.
