Before i added 3rd slot, i could use all nerve, never overheat any parts. Good for spamming nerve. How’s this look for no thought cracking?

First, the good. You hit the 6+ brute force strength which is a decent starting benchmark for 3 box rigs and have just the amount of PSU needed so no power wasted there. You're also for the most part correctly applying the principle of using the hottest HPCPU on the corners and sides, and cooler parts in the center.

However, there is a lot that can be improved:

  • There is no point in having empty spots. You can just use two substitutions of 1 HPCPU -> 2 CPU or 1 CPU -> 2 eCPU to fill those empty spots. Either substitution results in less overall heat, less power used and more MIPS as well.

  • There is very large heat imbalance. When making a rig you want to balance heat over the three boxes because in practice only the hottest box matters. Currently your second box is extremely hot, starting to overheat after only 2 uses, while the first is producing no heat at all. It would make sense to move some of the HPCPU from the middle box to the first, switching them with some of the eCPU there.

  • Having four fans is generally not a good way to go for cooling parts. When you're using 4 per box, water blocks are far more powerful, even compared to the best arrangement of the 4 fans. Plus they use no power and you don't need to worry about overheating in the water blocks themselves. See the numbers below in the picture comparing the heat reduction they provide to see what I mean:

Even with the parts you have you can do quite a bit better by fixing these things.

If, however, you don't want to further experiment and simply would rather have the solution for the best possible 0 heat rig (and don't mind possibly having to get a bunch more parts), see this simulator link instead.

I use this, goes 5 before overheating and cools faster than nerve refills.  If you log in a few times a day it's good, there are other crimes to dump nerve in so slow playing cracking for a bit of cash works for me.
