its like donator gifts. just random items. feathery hotel coupons etc
and how do i know what did i get? is there a message or what?

from what i've heard (i haven't gotten any myself, sadly) you receive an event if you get any loot from helping defeat an NPC
You get an event notification
Check out the LOOT RANGERS discord channel. They list every winner and what they won. When I got lucky, I won a Feathery Hotel Coupon worth about $12m at the time
It's not everyone that gets something in the fight just a chance to get something, it is tied to their look level as to how many lots drop
Level 1- 1 person gets item
Level 2 - 2 people get an item
Etc
Fernando drops FHC's on the regular
Tiny drops cans and SE's daily
Duke rarely drops the rein mg3
Jimmy rarely drops the breadknife
Leslie drops disappointment...
4 attack runs a day, NPC's get hit back-to-back, good shit only drops after loot lvl 4 and you have a roughly 1/70 ish (amount of attackers) chance of getting loot.
