Bazaar vs Market

Asking everyone who has a Bazaar,

 

Is it really worth the points?

 

With the Item Market,

 

•You can see the competing prices, and if you're at the low end, you'll definitely sell

 

•You can post anonymously

 

•Its easy to find, for everyone

 

•Posting can be very easy with the 'select all' button

 

With the Bazaar,

 

•It costs 210 points, which are rare and expensive 

 

•You can probably sell parcels 

 

•There's no sales tax

 

•You have to advertise for yourself 

 

•You can't post anonymously 

 

If one or some of yalls could do an experiment of posting a few identical items with identical prices on both the Item Market and your Bazaar, and show how quickly each item is sold,

that would be great.

 

If you plan on selling a reasonable quantity of items, a Bazaar is a great option. Tools like Weav3r’s bazaar script make it so you don’t have to advertise as much, as you get traffic just for having the lowest price out of people using the script. 

Posting anonymously is almost never worth it, as a reputable trader could give you a better price, compared to what you will sell for minus the fee.

Someone who understands the market and regularly has millions of the dollars worth of items to sell will regularly be able to get a few extra percentage points on the price of the items you sell.

 

You; however, almost certainly would not benefit enough from a bazaar for it to be worthwhile, judging by your stats.

You'd be best served getting to level 15 so you can fly and then sell the travel goods to a trusted trader who will offer you better than 95% of market value.
